Pillar 2
Practice, plainly: meditation for real lives
Meditation for real lives: busy days, neurodivergent brains, parenting.
A lot of meditation advice is written for people with quiet houses and spare hours. This pillar is for everyone else. I write about practice as it actually fits into a day: ten minutes before the school run, noting on a train, a sit that goes badly and still counts.
Some of it is about brains that don't follow the standard instructions, neurodivergent ones included, and some is about keeping a practice alive while parenting. I describe what I do and what I've found. It isn't instruction from a teacher, and it isn't medical advice.
This is about practice, not treatment. For diagnosis or support, talk to your GP or a clinician.
Essays for this pillar are still ahead. Short sits, noting, and practice that fits a real day: more soon. The newsletter will say when the first one is up.
